What are the best mage weapons that go with the spectre hood?

Really hard to say ,but i think that the best mage weapon is razorblade typhoon.

To answer the original poster's question: any magic weapon that naturally is capable of punching holes in enemies disgustingly fast.

[†PH†]Enablingurchin's suggestions all fit in that category. I would add the blizzard staff and the bubble gun.

That depends on how you define "best." It's overall a good magic weapon, easy to use an excels in most situation, but its mana usage is a bit high. In terms of raw damage output, it's also bested by the bubble gun, and I believe the blizzard staff and razorpine will as well.

But again, it really depends on how you define "best." The blizzard staff won't work well at all if you're underground, and the razorpine takes a bit more effort to aim with. The bubble gun also has a horrifically short range, which can make it suicidal to use.

drag i forgot to add the bilzzard staff (i use it but forgot to list it :D) i aslo use the bubble gun although its range is.... ehh

I find the magnet sphere to be a great weapon for that build :D .
