Best Magic Weapons

I want people to post their favourite magic weapon and says what drops it or who sells it. i am concentrating on being a mana user and i am looking for good weapons to find (i am in hardmode)

Are you asking for advice on what kind of weapon to use at your current point of the game, or are you just asking for everyone's favorite weapon, assuming the user is at a point in the game where the weapon is feasible to use?

just all favourite ones but also some early on hardmode weapons would help but i also want to know some good endgames ones (if you can state if its like early, post-plantera, after plantera etc.)

Personally, I always loved the space gun made from meteor. Had star wars music playing for so long until I finally gave up the ghost and got a real weapon.

But anyway, one really useful pre-plantera magic weapon is the golden shower spell. You need to craft it from some ichor, some souls of night, and a blank spell tome sold by the wizard NPC. You'll need to be on a crimson world (or have a pocket of cavern-depth crimson) in order to collect the ichor. The spell itself kinda sucks, but its use is in the ichor debuff, which lowers the target's defense by 20. With the way that the defense mechanic works, this amounts to up to 10 extra damage per hit on the target, depending on the target's base defense and your weapon's base damage. This effect synergizes really well with automatic guns, such as the megashark, and also with crystal bullets. Anything that hits rapidly will benefit the most from this.

One other magic weapon I enjoy using is the razorpine, dropped from everscreams. Although other magic weapons outclass it for raw damage, its combination of range and ease of use in most environments has earned itself a title of one of my favorite magic weapons.

Even though my primary world has Crimson instead of Corruption, I love using Vilethorn in pre-hardmode. As for hardmode, I'm not sure. I like my Razorpine and Poison Rod but I haven't delved into very many hardmode magic weapons yet.
