Tattered Cloth

Does anyone have any tattered cloth they could give to me?; I really need the Tinkerer`s Workbench.

Goblin army does not grant the goblin tinkerer. He is found in caves (bound) and is the only (legit) way to get him.

Don't listen to the guy above me, he hasn't owned the game as long as me. I have over one thousand hours on another account, so i know what I'm talking about.

The golbin army is summoned using the trinket which is why you are wanting tattered cloth. You can either kill golbins that spawn near the edge of the map or wait for the golbin army to spawn naturally as it always does at one time or another. Plus once you defeat the army you can then search the underground caves for him. I'm assuming you knew this I thought I'd just clarify it if you didn't. Just wait it out or kill some goblins.

It's not hard and would be easier than trying to set up a server for someone to give you something you could get in half the time.

Few things:

-You need at least 200 health and broken 1 orb/heart to even start a Goblin Invasion
-Goblin scouts are an uncommon enemy found only during the daytime on the outer two-thirds of the map, hang around the ocean beach enough, and they will come. Use battle potions and water candles to increase your chance.
-Goblin invasions have a 1/30 chance of happening each day pre-hard mode once the requirements have been met, so you may not even need to make the battle standard, just be patient and take your time to be ready. My first Goblin Invasion was quite a harrowing experience.
