meteorite armor or crimson armor?

i have both and was torn between them,dunnno which to choose wish i could get both of them stats(i play a mixture ranged ,melee,andmagic)

I'd go meteor armour with the spacegun. So good pre-harmode. Spacegun doesn't consume mana with full meteor armour set; so you can just spam it everywhere, and I really mean SPAM IT EVERYWHERE lol. Doesn't have great defence though.

Crimson. Meteor armor has that lettle feature with the Space Gun and unlimited ammo, as well as the higher magic damage bonus, but what it gains from that it loses in defense. Crimson armor gives you 6% damage to all weapons as well as an increased life regeneration bonus. You could use Meteor armor if you were dead-set on using magic-oriented armor against the Wall Of Flesh but Crimson is among the only two armor sets that are really recommended against it - the other set being Molten with a defense increase of +25.

Meteor armor if you are in caves/in hell a lot (Or on something hawt)
Crimson armor if you're done with all that.

Meteorite and space gun. The armor is fine for pre hardmode. The gun gets unlimited ammo and a boost to dmg, it has a high rate of fire and can travel a very long distance and makes a distinct thump when it hits things which makes it great to check for floating islands. The shot also makes a great light source while under ground. You can easily beat all pre hardmode bosses with just this setup.
