Can the host see my IP?

Hi, i am wondering something. If I join a friends game that he hosts Can he see my IP?

Typically, yes. Of course that depends on the setup. I don't know for sure how everything is configured.

Ok so let me get this right. If my friend makes a server from the game, he wont be able to see my ip? Thank you for your answers by the way

Yes, unless you use a proxy.

That's not correct, your router/OS will still display the IPs of incoming connections.
