Do all NPCs come back to life?

I just rescued this nerd goblin and it was impossible to even buy something from him because there were so many enemies spawning, and there was no blue candle, they were just soawning like crazy. Anyways, he died. Will he come back to life?

Also, if I make room in my house, will he come live there instead of living in the dungeon?

yeah they do but is santa dies and then the holiday season ends he wont respawn

They will respawn as long as you fulfill the requirements once more. For example, if your Arms Dealer is killed, you will need to have a gun or bullets in your inventory to make him respawn.

The Goblin Tinkerer you found has no requirements beyond finding him so he will always respawn as long as there is suitable housing.

If you are unlucky some NPCs can take a while to respawn. The Party Girl only has a 2% chnace each day to appear, which means i could easily take 50 in game days for her to appear. Also NPCs will only appear during the day. So no worries if they die in the night and don't seem to be coming back (can be an issue with NPCs that you kill for things like the Red Hat).
