Question about block placing
Hi terrarians,
I wondered if it exists any ways of placing blocks in a straight line (horizontal) as fast as a character can run (without speed boost other than armor speed boost) with accessories/items... It would actually be very useful in the construction of skybridges or to simply add layers of ground.

Sorry for bad english, not my native language.

The Cement Mixer accessory, which is sold by the Traveling Merchant increases block placement speed. I don't know by how much, though.

Te portable cement mixer only increases wall placement speed.

You're going to want to find yourself a brick layer accessory. It is also sold occasionally by the Traveling Merchant. Some other useful items would be the toolbelt and extendo grip so as to increase your placement range. Though I've never used one, I also see on the wiki that the toolbox increases placement range.

The extendo grip can be found occasionaly sold by the traveling merchant also, and the toolbelt is sold by the goblin tinkerer.

One last thing, if you are building a horizontal row of blocks it may be useful to toggle the auto placement on. For me i think the button is cntrl. It will automatically aim your pick/blocks. ( It's also really useful for mining! )

Here some links to the wiki pages for the above mentioned items:

for a straight line, vertical or horizontal, you can also use your hook instead of running (hold mouse button and pushing the hook key as fast you can)

This doesn't work when grappling Minecart Track. Multi-hooks like the Web Slinger will just make you stuck in one place, and single-hooks only seem to move you to the west if you mash the button.
