how do i get "jungle seeds" ?

i am trying to create hero clothes, and some youtube-super-star told me i needed green dyes and silk, but i don't know how to get those damn jungle seeds to make dye.
do i need some kind of tool to harvest it or something? i am a noob so i don't know.

i tried to go to jungle but i got raped and gangbanged by multiple OP Quickscoping bats, slimes and those flying things with many eyes.

No, when breaking jungle grass; not the block. You will have a rare chance to pick up jungle grass seeds. I recommend that you get at least gold armor before going in there, unless you are a pro at the game.
