Duke Fishron, arguably the toughest single Hardmode boss in Terraria. He's fast, deadly, and has tons of HP! What if you could AFK this fishy fiend though? Great farm!

Couldn't you just have an extra Switch with actuatored Block to open the gap for the Fishing Rod, if you rearranged the wiring and timer a bit?

Also, did you say 'add me' (as friends?) in the video? I like wiring, and if I ever run into a problem again I'd like to have someone to ask for advice. :)

Another amazing trap. I've never even worked with wire before but I do enjoy your videos, you make this look so simple. Sure looks a lot easier than me fighting bosses using a laptop touchpad and trying to aim and move at the same time. ;-)

Funny thing is I have all these nice items. Terra Blade, Megashark, Hallowed Armor. I'm working on farming Chlorophyte now and have an okay little setup. And yet you know what one item I cannot find for the life of me? A SLIME STATUE. I cannot find a slime statue for anything lol.

Question. Is there a reason you favor the Raven Staff over an Optic Staff? I have not used the Ravens before, but looking at the Terraria wiki, the Optic Staff (which I have, and like a lot) summons two minions that each do 30 base damage, wheras the raven staff summons one that does 37. So it seems to me that being able to spam Optic Staff's two-for-one should be a little better? Or am I missing something there. Does the 7 base damage make that big a difference? Either way... this very clearly works so I guess it doesn't really matter. Just curious.

Great question about Ravens vs Optic summons. The reasons I favor the Raven Staff is due to summon speed and higher base damage. All hardmode bosses have high defense ratings (check the wiki) some as high as 40. That means you have to do 40 damage just to get above a visible '1' damage tick when your summon hits the boss.

Ravens attack faster than the Optics and can buff easily over 100 damage meaning quicker DPS, and more damaging hits on the bosses. They're great for AFK traps! :)

That's what I've learned in my considerable time playing with traps anyway :D

ps - yes slime statues are horrible to find, I always seem to find random ones I don't want! :P
