I cant beat golem.

So when I defeated Plantera I went to the temple to prep it for golem. when I got down there the altar was in an incredibly small room. I cant defeat him this way so anyone got ideas?

Edit: I beat him i remembered that teleporters existed

bro this is litterally one of the easiest bosses ingame with gear that you can have on this stage of the game, also pickaxe that can mine lihzard bricks is dropped by the GOLEM

You can use Actuators (bought from the mechanic) to actuate the Lihzahrd Brick, thus expanding the area you're fighting Golem in.

Sometimes you do get unlucky with the boss room. I had a plantera zone right next to my temple enterence once so the golem shifted from the temple to my plantera arena.
Dont really know what you have to work with sadly.

sad thing is, you can't place normal blocks on actuated blocks. So you can't place platforms or any type of buff block, but you'll still have extra space

Does the temple still have the big arena room? If so, try summoning him in the other room, then running to the big one. (Make sure to be on the side you have to be on to run when you summon them in!) Golem has the mechanic to follow any players who go outside of his reach by jumping through the blocks in order to reach you.

Just make an arena outside the temple and go there once the fight starts. You could even wire up a teleporter if you really want.

take wood platforms and place them above golem to the point where he is half covered on the bottom and then just swing down with area damage weapons
