Why do people even dislike this game?

This game is an absolute masterpiece. Every difficulty is so fun, even classic mode. You farm ores and explore the caves, which is one of if not the best part of the game, you fight great bosses, which are better and harder the higher up you go (Seriously, they're amazing. From king slime to moon lord you feel the progression and the bosses ramping up in power. All of the aspects of progression in this game are just simply incredible). You do have to dig out arenas, but that's just a slight obstacle. How are there people who dislike this? This game is just pure fun. It's fun in co-op and in solo play. The co-op is also just amazing. It's so fun messing around with friends. The devs are also saints, they keep updating the game out of the love they have for it, even though they said that they'd stop. A wiki is "required", yes, but it's definitely possible to play without it.

And you have to just rely on a wiki or another friend to guide you through the game, as the guide NPC isn't that helpful. What do people actually see in this game?

What do you mean "trolling"? You and the other people changed my mind about the game. I thought that the game was bad and grindy, but now I understand that grinding is like meditating.

Yeah so ive been trying to carve out the V after beating the wall of flesh, and those desert spirits are the biggest pain in the ass.

Sometimes they are offscreen but I got 20 of those projectiles chasing me around at all times.

Feels a bit unfair, definitely isnt fun ROFL.

Its a good game, but it does deserve a little bit of criticism. However a big part of these games are the creative part and alot of people just arent that creative.

Public education is pretty good at killing that.
