Truffle wont move in

I can't get the achievement, I've never had him move in I have a valid house in the underground mushroom biome yet he still wont move in I'm confused help

Achievement is a bit misleading, it needs to be in a surface mushroom biome

it cant be an under ground mushroom biome, you have to make one on the surface by building a platform out of mud (at least 50 blocks long), and then place mushroom seeds on it(they will spread so you only need like 3, and also they are dropped from plants in the underground mushroom biome), and then build valid housing there
