Finding a living loom?

Hey all,

So I've read that creating a new world doesn't always guarantee a living loom to be found within a living tree. This seems to be the case for my created world which only has 1 living tree without a living loom. The problem is that I really need one and by the time I realised that, I've already progressed quite far in the world I created. It would be way too much hassle to create a new world and start from scratch just to find that damn thing.

Is it possible to bring a living loom found in another created world to your own world? How do I do that?

you can find another in a second world if you created. It is always randome when making the worlds so and if you want to bring it over you need to break the living loom with a pickax and have it in your inventory it will just come with you.

yeah they can only be found in living tree chests and each world isn't gauranteed to have one, my suggestion is to make a new world and grab one from there

you can use 1 charecter and play in loads of worlds with it

Wow, guess I'm really not that far in the game yet since I haven't heard of skeletron before. I don't think I'd be strong enough to help you. I could try though, sounds like fun. Btw, how is someone able to help another? Do I have to enter your world through a server or something?

Ah, so I can choose the same character from my first world to go into the new created world, pick up the item, and then go back to my old world?

Busy making a room with items I got from the forest biome :). Trying to make rooms each representing a particular biome. Trust me, I have the time..

yeah you can have multipul people and multipul worlds and your items in your inventory stay with you. and i suggest going to the how to make a server fourm for the server part beause yes it tells you how to make one but that kind of explains how to join. The short version is you enter an ip like 23.23.23.223 and a server port like 1111 but with diffrent numbers those are fake so and then you join if you have a tunnleing system like himachi then you enter an ip and have the port be 7777. I hope this is helpful to you

Thanks a lot for the info. I read that I don't even need Hamachi since Terraria also has its own server software (TerrariaServer.exe) in the Terraria folder.

One question: So I am able to bring my world (my created house, tunneling, etc.) into a multiplayer server?

it is there world if i hosted on my world with npc's and buildings it would be mine with that progress if you host a world as long as it isnt newly created it will be the same more or less

The server will have a new world or the host's selected world, but you can use your charater you like join the world, grab his loom, slap skeletron and then ride off into the sunset back into your singleplayer and build that room.

Damnn, reading this really makes me want to play the game again while I just quit it moments ago. I'm still very new to it and the multiplayer sounds insanely fun. I'll definitely go try it. Thanks for the info guys.

Also, I was worried I wouldn't find an Ice Machine for the same reason but luckily I just found one in a random chest (spawn chance in a chest is 20%)!
