Connecting to certain ports
For some reason, I can't connect to servers with ports "7777" but I can connect to legit any other port out there. I've joined terraria servers with ports not ending with 7777 the default port for terraria.
Does anyone have any clue why I can't connect to port 7777 but I can connect to any port like 7779 or 7878??
It's actually quite annoying and I've tried everything.
I don't have any anti-virus program except the one that comes with windows, I've deleted every rule about terraria on my firewall except actually allowing multiplayer.

Also, no crap please I need legit answers :)

What would port forwarding do if I'm not hosting? that's just what I've been told

maybe the servers you are playing on didnt set up the server properly but servers with other port probably have more than 1 server and know alot more about hosting and such

They were, I did a telnet connection to the one server on port 7777 and it went straight through. It doesn't work for this guy for whatever reason.

He's not hosting.

He tried to join t.jteeria.net:7777, that fails, I can immediately telnet to it.
He tried to join t.jteeria.net:7779, that works and I can immediately telnet to that.

It's only 7777 he has problems with.
