How do you kill eater of Worlds?

Sound like stupid ideal. Hiding in high place dropping bomb and dynamite when (Eater of Worlds) having trouble reaching me. Also platform is basically dungeon block to avoid having your bomb destroy the land.

You pretty much use Shurikens or Spiky Ball against it.

Protip: To defeat the Eater of Worlds, shoot it until it dies.

anything that pierces is very powerful against eater of worlds, jester arrows with a good bow is the simplest and arguably easiest option but things like grenades, the vile-thorn, summoners, powerful melee weapons etc all work quite well
additionally on classic you can build a box in the sky and spam ranged weapons to cheese him if you want, on expert and above he gains the ability to fly if he can't reach you and projectiles

Umm..... If user going to play like that. I think it good ideal to get tanky armor if want to fight it up close. You can get (Molten armor) early with shield of cthulhu.

(edit)Also they going need any running shoes and any item that let them double jump in air at less.

You can't get the Night's Edge until after the Eater of Worlds, because to craft it you need a Volcano, which uses Hellstone, which you can only start mining with a Nightmare Pickaxe, which requires Shadow Scales to craft.

break the orbs to get a ball o hurt and just hold it spinning the entire time. use an ironskin potion and a health regen potion

stay in one spot, tank all the damage while you use a sword, i prefer night's edge in this, and believe me, this is how i did this my first time, i beat skeletron before eater of worlds, don't hate me.

This is false, you only need to destroy a few segments to get some Shadow Scales, which is easy to do even with relatively weak gear.

True, but if you're strong enough to kill a few segments, you're probably strong enough to kill the Eater in general. On lower difficulties you can pretty much stand still and tank it.
