no, vanilla game is much better balanced and great, i don't think the mod fits the game, is just a extra thing vanilla much better.

as others have already said
calamity mod is it's own thing, and while it's quality often rivals even the base game it has a different tone, different focus and changes the gameplay significantly
it'd have to be like a free DLC since it clashes pretty hard with the base game and even then it probably just works better as a mod rather than DLC
and that's assuming all parties involved would be alright with it, and for what? there's no real reason for it to be anything other than a mod imo
