Fishing power

Honestly what does fishing and bait power do? i notice barely any difference to fishing with the higher power stuff to the lower power stuff

I noticed that the fishing line broke much less often when I tried using higher powered rod/bait. I also caught fish then that I never got with lower power equipement.

There is a 50% fishing rod,and some potions+bait (max is 666%=New boss) so yea the beter the fishing rod and the items above the better is the catch)

fishing power overall adds to your ability to fish, the bait improves the odds of encountering a fish while fishing.
