Fishing Rods

Just wanted to set up a post to see if anyone has found rods apart from:
Fishing Rod: 8 wood
Reinforced Fishing Rod: 8 iron
Fleshcatcher: 8 Crimtane Bars
Fiberglass Pole: Ivy Shrine Chests from Jungle <--- verified, but extremely rare, purportedly 2% chance of spawning in said chest.
Some Sort of bird pole thing: Traveling Merchant sells this.
Hotline Fishing Pole: % Chance reward on completing fishing quests after 25 completions.
Mechanic Fishing Pole: New Moon is the time to purchase from the Mechanic.
Gold Fishing Rod: Haven't gotten this far yet to confirm, but apparently on 50th quest completion angler gives you this rod. 50% fishing power.

There is also the fiberglass pole, supposedly from ivy chests. Someone told me specifically from the shrine chests. Mechanic's pole has been listed but no idea how to make or buy. And the last but not least sitting duck's pole. It is bought from the traveling merchant.

People also think there's a golden one from pirates.
But it's probably as rare as the coin gun :p

Found a listing showing a hotline fishing pole and a golden fishing pole. There are accesories as well it seems no clue on how to get them.

I've checked the lizhard temple and pre-hardmode dungeon on a fresh 1.2.4 generated world. No dice there.

the travling merchant sells a rod which is 40% soem tihng like bird wing or chickin wing its called n kinda pritty.

sorry i never noticed its sellign price.

but if the trend continues then 8 shromit bar wil lprobalby give yo ua a pritty good one.

checked shroomite and chlorophyte bars, they don't have one as far as I could see.

Hotline Fishing Pole you get after completing around 25 Fishing quests. Note: It's a chance of getting it as a reward.

That's not true. A friend and me just bought the rod from the mechanic, when she wasn't anywhere near the ocean.
According to the wiki you can buy it from her on a new moon.
EDIT:
On the mechanic's page it says it can be purchased on a new moon, while on the page for the rods it says ocean biome...
The latter is definitely false though.

Kind of aggreed I get it when I just killed some werewolf yesterday (in game yesterday)
the mechanic rod sold for 10 gold and have 30% fishing power.

I put the mechanic in the ocean biome when it was not the new moon and was able to purchase it.

Wiki now lists the rod sold under only a crescent moon. Which was what the moon was in the screen shot. Going to check into it further.

No the hotline, and gold rods are better. 45, and 50 respectively.
