a question about chloropyte ore

i recently beat the wall of flesh so now my world is in hardmode. i went to the jungle to get some chloropyte ore and i searched for awhile deep underground but found none. do u have to beat the mechanical bosses or plantera for it to spawn? or does it just spread slowly? thank u in advance

Chlorophyte ore starts spawning as soon an hardmode is activated. It does grow slowly, though, so if you go look for it just after entering hardmode, you will likely only find few small patches of it. Try waiting several in-game days for it to grow a bit. Also, it can only be mined with a pretty powerful pickaxe/drill. Easymode pickaxes are not strong enough. Try mining other hardmode ores first to get better equipement.

It starts spawning as soon as hardmode starts, but you can't mine it without a Drax/Pickaxe Axe or higher, so just work toward that and by the time you're able to mine it you should have a good amount grown.

Also, I've heard that defeating Plantera will cause new veins to spawn each time, but I haven't been able to confirm this.

Well,chlorpyte ore will start growing after the Golem is defeated as well as Plantera is dead.

That's just wrong. It starts growing as soon as hardmode starts, which is after the Wall of Flesh was defeated.

A mining tool with at least 200% pickaxe power is required.

If you are not certain, you should look it up on the wiki instead of spreading misinformation.

This is also not true.

It can be a little tricky to spot if you are flying by, but it's a distinctive shiny green ore in the underground jungle. Just keep looking around. As long as you're in Hardmode, it's there.
