True Excaliber or True Night's Edge?

I usually have a regular Night's Edge long before I have an Excalibur, and depending on crafting choices and/or rush to fight the Eclipse, I might not even have Excalibur when the Eclipse comes around, so TNE tends to come first.

I got TNE first because of high dmg and normal Excaliber is still useful because of able to hold down attack button quite nice :)

The Broken Hero's Sword is only used for swords... Hence why it's the Broken Hero's Sword.

True Night's Edge is essentially better, since the ranged attacks of the two swords both have the same cooldown time (I'm pretty sure), but TNE does more damage. However, I think that, when it comes to purely melee damage, TE does more, since it's faster than TNE.

The night's edge is better (tried em both), damage goes for Night's Edge of course, and the "magical sword" is spinning with using the Edge, so it got wider hits and harder hits.

TE couse you just hold you mouse button and it hits but with TNE you got to klick it just like you are using a short sword. TE has just a bit les dmg than TNE but is faster so it is going to deal more atacks. You dont go with atack you go with SPEED !

For Broken Hero Sword, I really mean some item to craft a Legendary Spear, its doesnt meant to be a Sword. Is there any?

I definitely go for a Terra sword but only compare between those sword, which one people preferred and used.

I heard someone said TE can't hold attack button. Is that true??
I got a 2nd Broken hero Sword maybe I can craft and try it anyway :P

I've tried craft TE. It can't hold down attack button to continuous swing :(

Yeah, TE doesn't have autoswing. If it did, that would give a reason to use it, but it's basically outclassed by TNE.

Get both, so you can make a Terrara blade, the post powerful sword in the game (3 broken hero swordz thou, so thats a pain D:)

Wow. After reach Plantera and after Plantera, I kinda change my mind. I prefer TE more than TNE because it shoot profectile more rapidly. I change my strategy to range attacker with Melee equipment.
