Golem won't spawn!

So after i checked all the threads about having problems with the golem spawn, I was able to conclude that there are 2 possible problems.

1.) The Altar did not spawn in this world.
2.) The player has not defeated plantera (and the mechanical bosses)

But here's my problem. I have killed plantera several times. I've killed Skeletron Prime, The Destroyer and the Twins. I do have the power cell to summon the golem. I have the altar. But when im right-clicking it nothing happens. We tried all. just using a single cell. Moving the altar to another place. Log out and log in again. But nothing happened. And as far as I ve checked all the threads, theres no problem like mine anywhere. Is someone able to solve this problem?

Did you defeat Plantera in multiplayer? There is a bug where the game will sometimes not register a boss as defeated when it's beaten in multiplayer. To fix it, just defeat Plantera again in singleplayer.

You were right. After i defeated Plantera in Singleplayer i was able to spawn the golem. Thank you all, for your help anyway :)

No problem. This seems to be a pretty common bug, hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

i have the same problem and yet when i do it the chat reads "has spawned!" and i dont know what to do, i rather not make another world because ive goten so far and yet im begining to consider it, suggestions?

dunno, is there a possibility that hes stuck in a wall? otheriwse, try to replace the altar on the surface and see what happens

That same problem has happened to me. Sometimes it says "has spawned!" and sometimes it said "Zombie has spawned!"
