Steampunk wings

The steampunk wings. We all know them. They were technically added in 1.2 but inaccessible unless you cheat. For almost every update/patch since, theres always rumors of adding Steampunk wings. Other then being really cool, they also have an awesome amount of flight time. I also remember for 1.2.3, it said "adding steampunk wings" somewhere. Now, it says 1.3: Adding Steampunk wings. I can imagine this is going to end up like Minecraft's "Removed Herobrine". So what do you guys think? Should they finally add it? Or should it be like the running gag with Terraria/Terraria 2 updates?

How do you know they will add it? They might be aiming for a running gag. I think they will add it in terraria 2.

I digress, adding Steampunker Wings would be awesome but I imagine it'd be more difficult than obtaining the Hoverboard or even any of the accessible and usable high-tier wings like Flame Wings. *mutterthosedamnRedDevilsmutter*

Who needs them anyway. The Spooky wings are just as good, and the Hoverboard is even better

Spooky wings: Can only get once a year
Hoverboard: Insanely long grind, I'd know (well, it was long for me)
Also, why is it that everyone here absolutely despises minecraft? It's a good game.
