Too dark at night?

Is there any brightness server or dark level i can adjust to not let it be too dark at night? CAuse at night, i can't see anything.

try using a light emitting pet such as wisp in a bottle, or using Night Owl Potions which basically turns down the darkness, or use a shine potion, or use all 3 and you will light up like a christmas tree, hope some of that was helpful :)

also changing your moniters gamma settings might help

You can also simply hold a torch in your hands, though you'll have to stick it into the ground if you want to fight something and still see.

The darkness is not a design flaw, it's so you get some sort of light source.

Yeah, but last time i played terraria it wasnt that pinch black at night, i could see atleast something back then.

you can just make a torch.
