A simple question about Monster Banners.

Please before anyone answers, read the majority of this post (preferably all of it).

How many legitimately obtainable monster banners are there? The wiki claims there are 242[terraria.gamepedia.com]. Now this is where the trouble comes in, if you total all of the obtainable monster banners listed on the very same page you come up with a list of 241 monster banners. I have double and triple checked my math and list, I even did a manual checklist to make sure I didn't miss any banners.

The Totals come up as (on the page):
64 -Pre-hardmode
16 -Slime
07 -Critters
72 -Hardmode
08 -Hardmode Slime
06 -Goblin Army
03 -Frost Legion
06 -Pirate Invasion
11 -Martian Madness
14 -Solar Eclipse
05 -Pumpkin Moon
09 -Frost Moon
20 -Lunar Event
-----
241

The main question I have is where is the error? Is the total number inaccurate or is the list missing a banner? I NEED to know this before I can finish my monster banner shrine .

Perhaps its referring to the unobtainable white cultist archer banner?

There are actually 9 unobtainable monster banners ATM so I doubt it. Unless one got moved from the obtainable list to the unobtainable list and was not removed from the total It just doesn't add up.

I'm kind of hoping someone can say "x monster isn't on the list" as it would put my mind at ease so I could continue building. I really don't want to shift around a few hundred monster banners later on (multiples of the ones I do have).

crawltipede used to be obtainable but got glitched with 1.3.0.6 I think and now has been moved to the unobtainable, they probably haven't updated the total since then

The only thing i found was a typo : "An additional 8 enemy Banners are unobtainable." -Offical Terraria Wiki , when there is auctully 9 unobtainable banners

You may aswell assume they will fix the crawltipede banner eventually (I actually have one from before it got broken) so go with 242

Hmmm, this could very well be the case. I do believe I can finish up with this.

I just checked and I already have 4 of these, at very least they need a home. I shall go with 242 then. Thank you everyone, this has put my mind at ease.
