Solar eclipse / blood moon

what triggers this? yesterday i got a blood moon and in the morning i got a solar eclipse then a blood moon then a solar eclipse and now today its on again. it keeps repeating bloodmoon and solar eclipses. im trying to build stuff, but get this stuff all the time! arent this events supose to be a bit rare? is there any way to skip them? i have gotten all the loot they have to offer so they are just anoying.

Yea, I had like 20 blood moons in a row yesterday, and 3 slime rains in a row with 2 more, so I have no Idea but that was insane

They should be rare, like 4% per night. You can also get super unlucky. I has 2 blood moons in a row so it's not impossible. No way to skip them other than going far underground.

Oh yeah, the sundial should stop future ones for eclipse I believe.

Sundial only works once a week. If you already used it and still getting non-stop events, then something is glitched somewhere.

"The Enchanted Sundial is a furniture item that can be placed and right-clicked to advance time to 4:30 a.m. (sunrise) the following day, though it will not be useable for 7 in-game days thereafter" so guess it havent been 7 days sins i used it last.
