Golden Fishing Rod

I don't really have a problem with the game, but if I'm correct, you get the Golden Fishing Rod upon completion of your 50th angler quest, I got it on my 29th completion. Any idea why?

I'm pretty sure that the GFR has a small chance of being awarded randomly now, instead of being obtained after a specific number of quests.

It is the best in terms of raw fishing power. But it's not the best in terms of fishing locations, since there is another rod (also a quest reward) that is slightly weaker, but can also fish in lava, which the GFR can't. It is only awarded in hardmode, though.

You must have turned in a quest before they actually fixed the achievement/badge. At one point it didn't count properly.
