you will get bored, you can farm the moonlord for his drops, farm the bosses for their trophys. do the frost & pumpkin moon for their respective items.

other then that if you aren't that much into building, you can always start over but plan a different playthrough. Personally since i've beaten the moonlord i'm just hunting trophys and banners. Wich i got nearly all of em (except fishing, I just dont like fishing)

How about creating a new world, using your end-game gear to kill the wall of flesh, and playing as new characters in a hardmode world?
If you didn't do expert, you could try that, too.
Oh, and MediumCore.

since im a hardcore guy i always go in the hardest possible difficulty we played in the expert mode, i don't like the games becoming to easy today so i always play this way http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=490092935 i don't like the medium core because the materials are not infinite, and it don't add much to the difficulty anyway.

You can kill the Dungeon Guardian WITHOUT Teleporters / Gravity stuff / Infinite flight / Slime Mount :D

This bug got patched, didn't it? Like all the way back in 1.3.3?
Cozie Aug 7, 2015 @ 7:49am
Really? Was it patched? I didn't know that.
VagueCryptid Aug 7, 2015 @ 7:50am
Yeah... First time I fought EoC in 1.3 expert I might've used that trick. It was awesome. Sad it got patched, but it was very op.
After beating the moon lord on expert I found myself not eager to play apart from getting achievements. I have 95% of them and the remaining ones are fishing and RNG, so I'm not sure I'll ever get around to doing them.

If you beat the moon lord on expert then I think turning the game off is fine. You've definitely gotten your money's worth by that time.

Ok, maybe. To some people that's enough. But maybe now you want to go through the game again, using only yo-yos to fight.
Or only using Shurikens and Javelins to beat the Wall of Flesh. Or beating King slime with no armor on Expert.
Or trying to destroy every block in world.
Or make pixel art of your favorite characters.
Or build some real-life buildings, like the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower.

Expert mode has more items to get.
Cozie Aug 8, 2015 @ 7:51am
Or wait until 1.4 xD
frusty Aug 8, 2015 @ 8:09am
I wonder what they'll add in 1.4
Cozie Aug 8, 2015 @ 8:15am
Propably something even tougher than Moonlord. I also hope there will be new Light Pets and Accessories... maybe an upgrade from Ankh Shield? Or from Frostspark Boots?
