Chlorophyte mining

I have a mythril pickaxe and its not strong enough to mine chlorophyte and if I can't mine chlorophyte I can't get a pickaxe/drill strong enough to mine it! I am willing to kill the eater of world but I don't think I am strong enough. Help?

Lol You're obviously not at the point at which you can mine Chlorophite yet! That's all there is to it. No help needed, simply progress further into the game, as you do.

First of all, do you mean the Destroyer? Which is the hardmode version of the eater of worlds. I've just started hardmode myself so I may be wrong on this but I think the hallowed pickaxe/drill is required to mine chlorophyte. To make the pickaxe/drill you need 18 hallowed bars and a single soul from each mechanical boss. Meaning you need to kill all 3 to gain access to chlorophyte.

You need to kill The Twins/The Destroyer/Sekeltron Prime to farm Hallowed Bars and Souls to be able to make a pickaxe strong enough to mine it.

What people said basically. Mythril is not enough. Drax or Pickaxe Axe made from hallowed bars can do the job. Once you have defeated the mecha trio and gotten this mining equip plantera bulbs also spawn in the jungle so it's only natural to go there and mine some chloro in the meantime.

Chlorophyte is above mythril by 3 tiers. Adamantite and Hallow are the tiers between them and Hallow will give you the tools to mine it and is obtained by the hardmode bosses of the destroyer, the twins, and skeletron prime.
