Worst as in useless or worst as in annoying to deal with?

There all terrible, but in my opinion, tie between Broken armor, Blindness, and Confusion. Ichor is bad and all, but only the one enemy applies it, and can be dodged easily.
Broken Armor: Hard to notice you got it, but then you get killed so much faster, especially if you are using melee armor.
Blindness: Personal pet-peeve of mine, not being able to see. Kinda self-explanatory.
Confusion: You are flying around a cave, without a care in the world, get hit by a bat, and suddenly fly right into lava or medusa. It's the worse, especially because it lasts just long enough for you to get the hang of the inversion, then wears off.

Potion Sickness. If only I could just keep drinking...

Stoned, defintiely. I've never died to it, but people say it's really bad with fall damage.

Stoned.

Broken armor, especially early hardmode, I remember when it had a 5 minute duration.

Stoned.
I just realized your image is a Pit Lord from Warcraft 3.
Good man, good man.

It's hard to say... the Blinded debuff from that spectromancer character in the dungeon is pretty strong (espcially if you used the classic light setting)... but for that matter, the debuff those Brain Scramblers give you is down-right dastardly.

I also dislike Distorted when it lasts a while, because then I start losing my dodging power.

Frozen is also down-right nasty.

No one's mentioned Moon Bite yet? The debuff that singlehandedly destroyed the endgame mage playstyle... Up until Nebula armor, anyway. I don't often play mage, so it didn't really affect me any, but it annoys me because it's such a poor attempt at balance.

Stoned is also up there. At the very least you should still take regular fall damage, instead of insta-dying from a 10-block fall...

Moon Bite is nuanced in that you can completely avoid it unless you intend to fight the Moon Lord.

That being said, Stoned most definitely takes the cake, for me.

Stoned is far and away the worst. No matter how powerful your character is, being Stoned by and offscreen Medusa has killed me more times than I'd like to count.

Moon Bite never struck me as anything too bad, but on my 1.3 playthrough, I never got Vampire Knives or Spectre armor, so it wasn't even an issue. Although I agree that most things that heal you are pretty stronk, ergo why Nebula armor is so ludicrously powerful.

Tell you what the worst debuff is.
Go download Terrariviewer.
Make a new character.
Now give that character dev armor.
Go play.
You will know true terror.

On its own I hate blackout the most.

Dev armor doesn't cause debuffs anymore. In fact you can get them in-game now.
