Broken Armor: Hard to notice you got it, but then you get killed so much faster, especially if you are using melee armor.
Blindness: Personal pet-peeve of mine, not being able to see. Kinda self-explanatory.
Confusion: You are flying around a cave, without a care in the world, get hit by a bat, and suddenly fly right into lava or medusa. It's the worse, especially because it lasts just long enough for you to get the hang of the inversion, then wears off.
Good man, good man.
I also dislike Distorted when it lasts a while, because then I start losing my dodging power.
Frozen is also down-right nasty.
Stoned is also up there. At the very least you should still take regular fall damage, instead of insta-dying from a 10-block fall...
That being said, Stoned most definitely takes the cake, for me.
Moon Bite never struck me as anything too bad, but on my 1.3 playthrough, I never got Vampire Knives or Spectre armor, so it wasn't even an issue. Although I agree that most things that heal you are pretty stronk, ergo why Nebula armor is so ludicrously powerful.
Go download Terrariviewer.
Make a new character.
Now give that character dev armor.
Go play.
You will know true terror.
On its own I hate blackout the most.
