Scaly Truffle vs Shrimpy Truffle

I'm having a dilemma in choosing between using the shrimpy truffle or the scaly truffle for my character. While choosing the shrimpy truffle seems to be a better choice, I find it harder to maneuver with it in order to avoid bosses. But, it does have permanent flight. However, the scaly truffle is faster and has better vertical maneuverability. So I'm asking for your guys' opinion on what is the better option. Thanks

Shrimpy truffle is super fast when you dip him in water or honey. This also gives you a damage boost. That's a win for me. I even flooded large sections of my world just because of this mount :D I use it all the time.
