Terraria Linux Save File Location

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 x64

And I intend to copy my Windows save file to Linux beta.

I did a search, and read that it was located in ~/My Games. But can't find such folder in my Home folder.

I created a character and a world, but I cannot seem to find new folders in my Home folder generated by the game.

I also can't seem to find hidden folder or any Terraria folder in .config too.

Any idea? Thanks in advance!

oops nevermind it's in ~/.local/share/Terraria

I'm glad they fixed this bug, I too was unable to locate the file after they moved it from ~/My Games/Terraria

It's nice that they're following a XDG like standard now.

I am on Linux, i have terraria on steam, but i'm looking in the terraria folder, but there is only folders named lib mono lib64 and content, i've searched these folders, but none have the world folder.

sorry to necro, but in my experience, its easier to hit ctrl h in the file browser to toggle hidden files(this might only work with my weird setup tho)
