[SOLVED] Life Drain not dropping?

I've probably farmed like one hundred souls of night, and crafted them into keys of night, and then crafted six chests to put them in to spawn the 1.3 Crimson Mimics, and I've killed them all, but absolutely no sign of the life drain drop . Do I have to fight the Crimson Mimics in the underground Crimson or something?

It's only a 20% drop rate. 6 crimson mimics not dropping one is unlucky but hardly cause for concern.

Thanks for your help :3 I geuss I'll just have to look in the underground Crimson then, perhaps even the fact may be that it doesn't drop from forcibly spawned Mimics?

no, it's just bad luck. 20% chance is not THAT much - not having a life drain after 6 tries is unlucky, not impossible. either keep spawning mimics or try to find some mimics undeground

They can drop plenty of stuff, a melee weapon, magic weapon, accessory, hook. The chance is even for all of them. And chance can be a grinch.

Yeah, it may just be some sort of statistical anomaly :/ Thanks for the help! :3

Not really an anomaly, that's how chance works. Nothing garantues that you will succeed after 6 tries.

it was just luck. I fought around 12 hallowed mimics trying to get a deadulous stormbow.

This. So much this. I spent hours in a hastily built farm in the dungeon trying to get my first Tally Counter and killed several thousand enemys before my first one dropped. My very next trip to the dungeon, a tally counter dropped in the first minute of the visit. Persist and a Life Drain will drop eventually, even if it seems to take forever.

I must have killed 10 crimson mimics and still haven't have gotten a life drain... About to kill my 11th.

i have the same issue except ive killed around 23 crimson mimics. Im not sure what the issue is. If anybody knows a common issue with this and a solution that would be great.
