Mechanical Glove is a great one too. Fire Gauntlet is a weaker version of Mechanical Glove and stacks with it too.
You can do without Wings with a good enough mount; that frees an accessory slot.
If you want to avoid knockback, a Shield is a good idea. Unfortunately all shields have nearly useless secondary effects. Ankh Shield protects from many status ailments so it's about as good as you'll get.
Star Veil for fights in which you think you'll be taking near-constant damage only, else it's pretty much useless.
There is an argument to be made for reforing to Warding in Expert mode given that Warriors gain the most benefit from Warding and Defense is 50% stronger in Expert mode. But for Normal mode, Menacing is generally way better.
