Ice Blade or Starfury?

I have a normal world and I have had the Ice Blade and really like it and recently got the Starfury. I like the Ice Blade projectile alot, and I find the Starfury's hard to use, but the Starfury does more damage. Should I make the switch?

The Starfury is amazing for underground exploration, I always use that if I have it.

The star doesnt become solid until it hits open space, meaning that it will go right through the dirt and land inside nearby open areas underground, lighting them up and giving you coverage of it on your map.

To clarify. The starfury is awful for underground combat. But can be used to ligth up nearby caves.

Ice blade is nice and has a direct upgrade later in hardmode - frostbrand. Starfury is slightly better against large enemies like bosses but the ice blade shoots a projectile.

Imho the Starfury is utterly useless, i've always hated that weapon, i find it so boring to use.

I prefer Ice Blade myself, since with it you can fight in range. Starfury is kinda useless, except maybe for fighting harpy.

Starfury is a pre-hardmode weapon i think you're confusing it with the other sword.

starfury is the sword you find on the floating islands and not the drop from the moon lord
