Flower Boots: Fact or Wiki Myth?

I have searched the jungle shrines of 15 worlds (14 small, 1 expert) and come up absolutely empty when looking for these. Do they really exist and I'm just insanely unlucky when it comes to finding a pair of them? Or are they a prank someone editing the Wiki decided to play?

They exist but are random. It's like trying to get Horseshoes. You know they can be in a skychest but you'll find 15 balloons instead.

And yes, they can spawn the Strange Plants. The best way to do it is to drop a flail/yoyo at your feet and let it break all the other flowers and dye plants, but it won't break the strange plants.

Wait, they can make strange plants?

Yes, they spawn strange plants (somewhat rarely) on grass (not plain dirt). Mostly it will be just flowers that are only useful for hay.

What's the state of your world as far as progression is concerned? Most of the cooler dyes are locked until you beat certain bosses. WoF (Triggering Hardmode), mechanical bosses, Plantera, and maybe even Moon Lord (not sure) need to be killed to get certain ones.

I was starting to wonder about that after I traded in a strange plant on an old hardmode world of mine and got a dye I hadn't seen before. Thanks for confirming the hypothesis.

Thank you for the replies, everyone. 20 worlds (including this character's homeworld and 19 for resource pillaging) on and I FINALLY found a pair of flower boots.

Strange plants can, but the fower boots won't spawn them (or anything else) on plain dirt from what I've seen.

Click your name in the upper right of the Steam browser and select view profile. Then edit profile, and there should be an option to change your profile picture.

I have 1. I don't know why they would even make them tbh, they're is no use really.
