The Dev items drop from any treasure bag so any bos you can quickly kill can get you many bags yielding a better chance

No. Dev Items can come from the Treasure Bag of any Hardmode boss in Expert Mode.

I recommend farming the Golem in an expert mode. Treasure bags that originate from Hardmode bosses (in Expert worlds, of course) have a chance of granting you developer items.

well this is new to me
glad to see the devs put their exclusive items in game to people who prove themselvse

I think the destroyer or Golem would be the easiest. You only need some soul of nigh (6) and some vertebrae/rotten chunks to make the mechanical worm, and that thing falls quickly before the might of end game gear.

The golem is summoned by power cells and can be farmed in the jungle temple with enough patience. There are plenty of traps to use to improve your farm as well.You can also make the golem spawn in an encased area filled with traps thanks to being able to pick up the summon altar.

Me and a friend grinded golem like 80 times and i got 5 sets.
But he is easy to kill and take a buddy with you and trade something you have for his bags
