i am in hell but i cant open case

guys i went to hell. i found 1 2 case but. when i wanna open it.. i see one key symbol on the chest

how i can open

get a shadow key from the dungeon. the dungeon is located at either left or right side of your map.

i killed skeleton boss. and i found gold key

When you mouse over a locked chest, it shows you what key you need to open it.

Gold Keys open Gold Chests, Shadow Key opens Shadow Chests, Biome Keys open Biome Chests.

The locked golden chests (not case) can sometimes contain a shadow key, the shadow keys are used to open shadow chests in the underworld.

In future look at your mouse cursor when it's on a locked chest, it tells you what kind of key you will need for it. Once you get a biome key in hardmode make sure you read the tooltip as it explains why it wont open the chests just yet.
