need some help with crimson
I've created a barrier to stop the crimson / hallow from spreading into an area below by house
but a about 20 block the music changes and the water also changes to red but no crimson blocks are inside the area.
Is that normal or not?

I'm not an expert on Hardmode, considering that I've never reached it (ever), but the only thing I can think of is that somehow the Crimson has found a way to infect your area (or it's a bug of course). How about I ask the obvious questions so that other people don't have to?
What is your barrier made of?
How thick is it? Crimson/Corruption/Hallow can 'jump' three blocks IIRC.
Did you close it off all the way (so not leaving an opening at the bottom/top for the biome to jump through)?
Are you absolutely certain there was not a single block of Crimson within your barrier before you built it?
Can it be that some extra Crimson has spawned within your barrier (I believe that it can do that if you destroy Altars)?

If my post is stupid/misinformed, please ignore my questions and let me know, I'm trying to learn here as well. Like I said, I never made hardmode, but I did spend quite some time on the wiki, researching stuff and planning my things. Even so, it is perfectly possible that my knowledge is wrong or outdated. If anyone else is able to help better than I did, and chances of that are fairly high, you should probably follow their advice over mine.

Biome background is determined by the number of crimson blocks in a large area. There are still crimson blocks around, probably below the surface.

Can you show a screen shot of the area? (You can take a wide one with the map now.)

Those screenshots are normal. All it takes is 200 blocks of crimson/corruption/hallow within proximity of your area to set the biome. So those 200 blocks can all be to the left of you screen like in those screenshots and it would still be crimson. I think it uses the spawning area (something like 120 x 70 tiles centered around character) to calculate, but im not sure.

EDIT: TLDR your barrier is probably fine, this is just how the game mechanics work with active biome calculation.
