Is my lake not wide/deep enough?

I've caught some crates, and one or two bombfish, but mostly bass. I'm on my second day of the Angler needing a sky-based fish. First time was a Cloudifsh, this time is an Angelfish. Not having luck with either.

i'v always had terrible luck with sky lakes, especially with wyverns showing up, your just being unlucky. i once spent half a terraria day catching bass during a quest.
dont feel too bad i havent found many fish either.
but yes it is winde and deep enough seeing most of my ponds are smaller and i seem to not have too much trouble.

Should be fine, try not standong on the water? That might make a difference. Or maybe your like isn't high enough to be considered a sky lake?

use a depth meter to find how high you are

I think sky lakes just suck, your lake is fine.

Standing on the water doesn't make a difference. I do all of my fishing from the water surface.

He has one. View a screenshot to eliminate unnecessary posts.
I finally got one, geez. I went to another sky lake that was slightly higher. Not sure if that was a coincidence or not. Thanks guys.

You're not high enough, it says 'surface' on the Depth thing. Should say 'Sky'

There is no "Sky". It goes from Surface to Space.
