Can't craft Platinum Watch?

I've got 16 chains and 87 platinum bars in my inventory, standing in front of a chair and crafting table like gamepedia says, but the Platinum Watch doesn't show up in my crafting menu. What's up with that?

Check crafting with the Guide. He unlocks new recipes if I remember correctly.

Whoops, my bad. Regular table and chair worked for me. I wonder what the reasoning behind the table+chair is...

Probably just because people put them next to each other for aesthetic / npc spawning reasons. Makes sense that they'd have it happen with the table (and chair next to it), meaning they say that dynamic duo is behind the crafting ability.

I always found it odd watches are the only items where you need specifically a table/workbench and chair to craft them.
