The best way to get health potions?

Soo.. I'm kinda down with the health potions and i was wondering if there is any way to firm health or greater health potions. If you know a way, please help me Q_Q

depends on how setup you are, but most bosses if easily beaten drop a good number of pots

i personally farm golem for pots

The easiest way I find is just farming them from Hardmode bosses, I'm farming them from Golem, because I have too many Energy Cells...

Destroyer is easy for me to kill, and he drops a bunch.

The new mimics will drop Greater Healing Potions (and some mana ones too) on death. You just need 15 Souls of Light or Night and an empty wooden chest. They are pretty easy to beat once you get used to them, and it's easy to farm for the souls (after a while you'll also need some iron but it should be after you have quite a lot of potions if you've picked up any chests you found). As an added plus you can sell any unneed loot.

The only fact is that i'm at the golem right now. And i can't really kill him..

Greater? Well, the new hallowed mimics drop ten of 'em on death, health and mana. You can find them yourself, or you can spawn one by putting a key of light in an empty wooden chest, but MAKE SURE AUTOPAUSE IS DISABLED! It willl not work otherwise.

^This. They are not hard to make just crystal shard, bottled water, and fairy dust for greater health pots. regular health pots are 1 lesser health pot(which itself is 1 mushroom and 1 bottled water) and 1 glowing mushroom. Far easier to just craft the things then farm mobs for them.

That's fine, just tried farming the destroyer and it works perfectly.
