Cant find ice golem

Been looking in the snow biome and cant find him looked and wiki and it just says hes a uncommon mob any help?

It has to rain in other biomes. Then there's a snowstorm going on in ice biomes and he will spawn there quite a lot. He spawns often enough to get 2 if not 3 frost sets.

You will only find him in hardmode (obviously) and while it's raining/blizzard.
Beware it is pretty strong.

Gotta be hardmode, gotta be rain/blizzard (same thing, it's blizzard in snow biome, rain in any other), it just spawns randomly in a blizzard.

I should be able to kill him pretty easy but i didnt know it had to be rain in other biomes for it to be a blizzard
thought that if it was snowing it would be considered a blizzard

nope its not (sadly) but yeah hardmode blizzard

Does it show up underground in the snow biome as well or do you have to be on the surface?

i have full solar flare set it cant be that hard right?
