Frozen Key not working

I have the right key, and im standing to the chest. Right clicking it isn't doing anything. Does anyone have an idea why?

Melt your key and forge it again

You need to kill Plantera before, the chests only can be oppened after you kill them.

You can only use them in a hardmode dungeon aka. You need to kill plantera. The tooltip of the items should say so too.
