For example, if you fire a North Pole straight up while there's wind, you'll see the snowflakes fall to the side. If you want to aim them at yourself while there's wind you'll need to compensate every time the wind speed changes.
congratulations for being absolutely useless and not reading my post at all.
I KNOW WHAT RAIN IS
I don't think wind actually has an impact on the game... I couldn't find anything about it on the wiki though >.>
Maybe mov speed bonus?
With wind though, i can't help you there. Ive personally never seen it effect anything
Yes. I used it a *lot* before it was nerfed, and the wind changing direction was a huge pain, forcing me to figure out the new correct angle every time.
Can't think of other weapons off the top of my head, but it'd be possible to test it by shooting straight up with various ranged weapons while it's windy and see of the projectiles fall to the side instead of straight down.
I was almost certain North Pole was the only one.
I just tested arrows in 66mph wind, and no effect. Daybreak isn't affected either.
I used it a lot when Celestial Sigil didn't exist, it does massive dmg when you are under pillars and shoot upwards, probly most DPS for it pre-pillars
Wind doesn't affect any weapons, that I'm sure
Interesting.
It's almost silly that they went to the trouble of having wind affect *one* weapon and not used the same effect for others, but... heh, I suppose giant falling snowflakes would be far more affected by wind than an arrow.
