Wall of Flesh won't spawn

I was fighting the WoF but then I died. Now if I go into the Underworld I still have the "Frightened" buff but if I try to spawn the WoF again, my guide dies then nothing happens.

Please help, I can't kill the Wof in my world because it won't spawn.

If you tried to spawn it again, did you have another guide move in to sacrafice? You have to have another guide move in to summon another wall of flesh

Make sure the guide respawned. I've had a problem where i accidentally killed him summoning wall of flesh, another npc moved in and i had no vacant houses. it might be the same problem, just check.

Yes, the guide had respawned. When I throw in the VooDoo Doll in it would say
"Cole was Slain..."
Then nothing would happen

Make sure the previous Wall of Flesh despawned first. If you have the Frightened debuff, that means the WoF is still alive. (Check the World/Large map. You should see the icon for WoF at the bottom somewhere). If WoF is gone, then try exiting the world and going back in. Should fix the problem.

So I traveled the entire underworld, about halfway through the "Frightened" Debuff would go away. But when I go back to where I came (The center) I get the debuff again.

And the WoF is not there.

Try exiting the world and reopening it. If that doesn't work, play the world again but with an alt character. Make sure the guide has moved in. I believe this will work because the player stats are changed and since the original one was fighting the wall of flesh, the game believed it was fighting the wall. But when the player is gone it should despawn.

Same issue, I died during the WoF and tried to resummon it, the guide was alive, and it just kills the guide. Traveled all over the underworld no WoF. Tried to log with different char till the guide came, resummoned it again, NOTHING. What am I supposed to do if I can't summon the WoF???

You died from the wall of flesh and tried to resummon? Probably because the wall of flesh is the only boss that doesn't despawn after the player is killed. It'll just go towards the edge of the world and despawn. If you try now, it'll probably work.

Fix here,

I had the same issue, I couldn't summon the WoF on any world after dying.

Delete Terraria from the "steamapps" folder in your steam directory. then verify your install in steam. Fixed the issue for me in about 2-3 min.

I backed my characters and worlds up to the cloud before I did this, but I'm not sure if it is required.

I don't know how to help you. This is for the PC version of Terraria - if you want help, ask elsewhere. Also, how did you even find this thread? I made my comment originally fairly long ago and get a notification on a thread that's 3 years old.
