How rare is the Ice Machine?
I've opened several ice chests and haven't found a single one of them, yet the Honey Dispenser and the Living Loom appeared in the first Ivy Chest/Living Wood Chest I opened. Is it's drop rate lower, or I'm just having bad luck?

It's common. I searched 4 chests and I found 2 of them.

Playing on large worlds will natually increase the chance of encountering one within a chest. (As in giving you a larger area to explore and find them)

Circulate between worlds to find them, same advice goes for living wood wands and other exclusive equipment.

Believe me I know bad luck. I was playing Terraria trying to get the Band of Mana for a character. Took me like 7-8 generated worlds.

I still haven't found a leaf wand after 20 worlds... *sigh*

Edit: All those stuff are "common" and you can have good and bad luck for them, I had rough luck for Sky Mills (took me like 7-8 sky biome)

Ice machine, according to http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Ice_Chest , has a 20%, or 1/5 chance of spawning in an Ice chest. :/

I've searched 20 ice chest no ice machines, its been hours of digging through ice and snow, nothing!
I've found 2 fishes, to summon baby penguins, but no F***ing ice machines!
