Where is blinkroot?

i've started 2 o 3 worlds and i've explore a lot of in the underground but i've don't find any of them.
where usually appear the blinkroot?

It appears almost everywhere underground, only on dirt and mud. It looks like this[hydra-media.cursecdn.com].

yep i know how it looks but the point is that althought i've looked for it, it doesn't appear.

Oh, this is strange. If it's a bug, reinstalling the game could solve it (probably).

Solved.
I've found one of them, it's still strange becouse is the most common plant but nvm coz i've found one and i can farm it now.

They rarely spawn on their own on bare dirt.

I can see them faintly on the minimap in the black areas. They show up as 1 pixel of gray. I thought it was my imagination at first, but then I set out to mine to three of the points and each one had a blinkroot. I cannot see them in a well lit room. It has to be dark.

yep i know that they glow in the dark but even in three maps i've only found one to farm it, it's weird.

yeah! now i have a lot of pots with blinkroot, so if i need some of them in other world i only need to go to that world :P

I do it another way. I take the seeds/plants from one world to the next. The reason is that I sort of remember reading something about how the plants will grow when you are near them (a few screens at least). So if you only plant and grow in another world where you will go get them as needed, I'm not sure if they will grow well that way. Someone feel free to correct this statement if it is wrong.

i dont really know, im new in terraria. All i know about the game is becouse i read it on terraria wiki or forums.
btw, now i've got seeds to bring where i need jajaja :P

What do you use them for? Still some things I've no clue about in this game. xD As for me, I just look for blinking, as the name would suggest. ;)

Hmm. Blinkroot is one of those plants that I constantly delete out of my inventory because I get so many of them. If you make a bridge of dirt in the Underworld spanning the lava you're set for life. Everytime I go to hell, I get an absurd amount of 'em just growing on that bridge.
