Honeyed Goggles droprate

Does anyone know what the droprate on Honeyed goggles is? I've been farming Queen Bee for forever and I'm getting sick of farming for the summon time after time again..

Gathered enough wax to arm a legion of bee's..

I've had more lucky with keymolds, rods of discord and what not..
I wouldn't be surprised if my Queen Bee killcount was over 200 by now..

My bro got it after 46 runs, so yea average drop ratio is between 50-100 beequeen kills.

Key mould is rather easy to get, despite having a 1 of 2500 drop chance (or 0.4%). You simply put 50+ hallow or crim/corruption blocks in the temple or dungeon and turn the background to a hallow or crim/corruption biome (dont have to be visible) Often then not, if you set it right and force enemies to spawn in one same location. Enemies tend to add up the number and chance. From what I experience, it's 2% chance for me to get any kind of key mould.

Rod of discord though is tricky one. Through whole 800 hours + I only manage to come across 1

I don't make farms for rare drops as it kind of defeats the purpose of it being rare if you can just afk somewhere untill it drops..

I might just give up on the honeyed goggles though, from what I hear its not that great and apparently it just wont drop for me

It has a 1/100 chance to drop from the Queen Bee. if you wanted the actual drop rate

I'm not saying I farm them. My Temple happens to generate at the edge of Jungle Biome and next to it there's a Corruption biome and Hallow Biome. Depends on where I am in it, when I try to get some powercell. I get a surprise every now and then

And no, it's not worth it, just go with wings.

Fetch had already said the drop rate being %1.. in the first comment.

Wrong wiki. This one is almost always more up-to-date: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Terraria_Wiki

But yeah Honeyed Goggles are a complete pain to get. Its pretty useless once you have wings as well. But I guess for early game is a great way to get around.

Also I just want to have it for the sake of "finishing" the game, I farmed for all the wings etc, I'd just like to get everything before I'm really done.
