its a repeater like weapon unfortunately it doesnt fire medium rare juicy steaks just the plain old boring wooden sticks :P

It's a crossbow that fires STAKES, not STEAKS sadly. I haven't tried it but my guess is it's more effective against vampires, or undead in general.

Or is just a plain boring crossbow, who knows.

Stake launcher is infact classified as an arrow weapon, so use the shroomite mask with arrow damage.

Also able to hit over 5000 on vampires, perfect weapon for them.

Actually, shroomite headgear is for arrows...I just tested it myself and yea, it's an arrow weapon :)

I'm horrible with the different names for helmets in hardmode.

Hence why I said the mask with arrow damage.

I think it gets the bonus from Shroomite Armour ARROW variant, so it could count as a bow, but its still a crossbow

honest to god i literally got up opened my fridge checked to see if there was any steak and there wasn't then i came back to my room steakless
